How to start with Twitter Bootstrap

Twitter Bootstrap is a free collection of tools made up of css & jquery for creating websites and web applications. It contains HTML and CSS-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, charts, navigation and other interface components, as well as optional JavaScript extensions.

This works a plugin to your site by just including few lines into your html code. It makes your work very simple when you have a small time boundary for project deadline.

Whenever it comes at good UI / UX in Web any designer will prefer the Bootstrap because of its Ready to use classes.

Lets see How to start with Bootstrap:

  1. Download Bootstarp from www.getbootstrap.com
  2. Extract this zip/tar file. You will see file structure like this:
  3. Now create an index file (index.html) and write basic code to just start with basic program:
  4. Now are done with prerequisites. Now lets make some basic template. Paste the code below in body tag replacing Hello world H1 tag.
  5. Hurrah !!! Now we can see something really meaningful.
